Equinox - 2013

Equinox was composed in the winter of 2013.  I had a pretty bad case of cabin fever the first winter after moving to Maryland from Texas.  As such the work is a celebration of the Vernal Equinox and the triumph of spring over winter.

All accidentals affect only the specific octave for which they appear and are good for the entire measure.

 

All trills and mordents are by whole step unless otherwise marked.

 

Percussion is scored for 5 players.
